The Magic lies in Our Team
We are only as strong as our team! We’re all about growing talent from within. Max, our General Manager, started as a guide, and some of our senior guides began as tent attendants.
The Heartbeat of Our Camps
Our camp staff are passionate about taking care of you. From tent attendants to chefs, they treat the camps as their own and take pride in every detail. Many work quietly behind the scenes – unseen but always there, making sure your stay is exceptional.
Our Guides
Our guides are fully qualified, passionate pros with deep knowledge of the region’s flora and fauna. We’re committed to ongoing development through bi-annual training and externally examined first aid courses.
They have completed an Advanced Wildlife Photography Course, and put together this handy Guide to Wildlife Photography — so they can help you capture every breathtaking moment of your safari like a pro. From understanding light and angles to tracking predators in action and ensuring they know exactly how to position guests for the perfect shot, they’ve been refining their skills to help you capture the raw beauty of Tanzania like never before.
What sparks your interest – birding, history or palaeontology? Let us know, and we’ll pair you with a guide who’s an expert in that field. Want a specialist guide, or need a guide or interpreter who speaks European languages? We can organise this for an additional cost.
We operate strictly in accordance with the TATO Safari Guide Code of Conduct & Ethics.
