Serengeti Wilderness Camps were opened back in 2007, when we saw an opportunity for an eco-friendly, high quality tented safari camp that blends into the environment, set in a prime game viewing location – where the emphasis is all about the guest experience.
Being passionate about the bush and sharing it with the local wildlife in the most un-obtrusive manner, our first camp was remotely located along the Ngarenanyuki River. Back then we were the only camp for miles, with great access to excellent game-viewing around the central Serengeti.
We have since moved and now our Central camp is in the Nyabogati area – overlooking the river and has an abundance of resident game. The location is in a remote setting – but not too far from the Seronera region and the airport.
It’s sister ‘migration’ camp moves between the Ndutu area in the south (perfectly located for the calving season Jan/Feb), and a beautiful spot up north near the Mara River in Kogatende (July-Oct), for those exhilarating river crossings, as the camps follow the path of the moving herds and the Great Migration.
Our camps are small, with a maximum of ten tents, giving our guests a feeling of exclusivity.
Our friendly staff go out of their way to ensure a memorable and comfortable stay.
We invite you to stay with us, and enjoy our hospitality.
